Renewing Our Focus for 2024

Date: December 29, 2023

Greetings, Mother and Daughter Churches,

Moving towards the beginning of a New Year, we can be grateful for all that God has done to bring us this far and all that we have to look forward to as His people in the years and eternity ahead. As you know, we will enter a time of corporate prayer and fasting this coming Monday through Wednesday. I encourage everyone to prepare today by constructing a special prayer list of what the Holy Spirit would lay on their hearts to pray for beyond our Leadership Conference and local ministries.

Regarding our local ministries (APH and Daughter Works), I wanted to share some things I will be targeting in prayer that you could help me aim at. I will pray a lot for us as a Mother Church with now several Daughter Churches. I will pray for you individually as I move through my Austin Potter's House Ministries members list. I will be praying for everyone's spiritual and physical health. I will pray for everyone to be fruitful in reaching others for Christ, for current and new ministries to flourish, and for everyone's families, marriages, jobs, businesses, and finances.

For our Daughter Churches, I will pray for their needs and for getting their next significant breakthroughs, such as becoming self-supporting, entering into full-time pastoral ministry, and planting their first Church. Let's pray for spiritual grandchildren!

Church, our responsibilities as a Mother Church have never been more significant than what they are currently. Like never before, it is of the utmost importance that we, as members of the Church, the Body of Christ, be as spiritually focused as possible. Like never before, we must First Seek the KOG and His Righteousness and be the best stewards of our time and finances as possible. God is delighted in what we have managed to set in motion for the Great Commission by His Grace and Power, and just as in times past, He will take great pleasure in 2024 by performing some new and fresh miracles for those remaining faithful to serve and support the work He is doing in and through our lives!

Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Renew: a renewal, renovation, complete change for the better

Luke 16:10a (NCV)

Whoever can be trusted with a little can also be trusted with a lot, and whoever is dishonest with a little is dishonest with a lot.

Revelation 22:12

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

For Renewed Minds & Rewards in Christ,

Pastor Terry Wakefield
